HRW accuses Ankara and Damascus of exacerbating cholera in northeastern Syria

The Human Rights Watch accused on Monday the Turkish authorities of disrupting the water supply in northeastern Syria, which is exacerbating the cholera epidemic that is spreading in the country for nearly two months.

The organization also accused the Syrian government of obstructing the delivery of aid to areas under the control of the Kurds in a “discriminatory manner.”
